Association for Hair Removal Professionals in Georgia
Welcome to the Georgia Electrologists Association (GEA). GEA is a professional membership association dedicated to maintaining the quality and professionalism of the permanent ahair removal industry by providing high level education to its members across the state.
Electrolysis is not a licensed profession in the state of Georgia, so the GEA is more dedicated and committed than ever to providing the public with highly skilled and trained professional electrologists. The GEA offers members regular seminars and meetings where electrologists can earn Continuing Education Units (CEU's) each year. These seminars offer an opportunity for members to discuss and share relevant issues as it pertains to the hair removal industry. In addition, the GEA continually strives to protect the health and safety of the public, as well as the electrologists, by providing its members with advanced training in the field of sterilization and universal precautions.
